Wizards, witches, and warlocks alike are invited to step into the magical realm. Explore our mystical festival with fellow kindred spirits Saturday 9/22 and Sunday 9/23. 10am to 7pm each day (VIP tickets will be admitted at 9am)

Wizard Wand Duels

Step into the ring using one of our magic wands and test out your magical skills. Merlin vs. le Fay, Harry vs. Draco…battle against friend or foe using your favorite spells.

Photo Booths

Stop by one of our photo booths for a Midwest Magic Fest-themed photo so you can remember your experience forever.

Quidditch™ Games

Learn about the history of Quidditch™ and why it’s one of the fastest growing sports at universities. Watch, learn, and play Quidditch™.

Garden Show & Living Statues

Stop by to learn about magical flora from our herbology professor, and see just how accurate our Living Statue is. You can even take a picture with it!

Vendors, Food, and Beer Tent

We have some of the best area vendors on site to share their goods and artistry. When you need a break, stop by one of our vendors for a snack and drink.

Fantastical Balloon Beasts

Children of all ages can enjoy balloon creations. Don’t worry, these beasts are all house-trained.

Not-So-Forbidden Forest

Take a walk through our forest and see mythical creatures, wizard’s graveyards, and other magical elements that are sure to entertain.

9/20 – Due to Mosquitos and Rain the Not-So-Forbidden forest will be reallocated to the regular grounds.  

Wand and Making

Everyone can enjoy a chance to make some magic of their own with these magical crafts.

Costume Contest

Go all out and dress up as your favorite wizard, witch, or creature. Prizes will be awarded for several categories—more details to come.

2018 VIP Access Tickets

You’ll feel like a true VIP with the extra picnic tents, custom photo-ops, and other perks.

We’re still working on a few fun features and will share more as soon as we can. Some performances and activities may be modified as the event draws closer. Follow us on social media for all the latest news.

VIP tickets include all of the highlights from the General Admission tickets, plus the following events (which are mostly indoors):

Early Access

VIP ticket holders can enter the festival one hour before GA ticket holders. Join us at 9 am each day (instead of 10 am) and enjoy activities without the crowd or lines.

Indoor Beer Garden

Stop indoors for a pint or flagnon, and enjoy magical games and trivia for that authentic Pub feeling.

Owlology

These magical creatures played an important part in our favorite films—stop by to meet a few and learn more about them from experts.

Indoor Privvys

Only VIP ticketholders have access to the indoor plumbing. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of facilities available for everyone.

Potion Making

Wizard and Witches will be able to take home a vial of their own crafting.

Boodini’s Scary Objects

For those that don’t spook easily, stop by the Arena to see an amazing Dark Arts show performed by one of the Midwest’s best magicians.
